The only drawback is that every request is considered as a unique track.Though a little older and a little more gruff, Kenny Rogers is still a charmer who knows how to rope in an audience and keep them happily captive. Starting with an upbeat "Islands in the Stream" (solo, no Dolly), he sets the pace for a lively, friendly show. Following the usual format of A&E's Live by Request series, fans from North America call in to talk to Kenny and ask him to sing a song for them.
Seventeen songs are featured, including "Daytime Friends," "Lucille," "Lady," "Coward of the
Country," "We've Got Tonight," "Ruby, Don't Take Your Love to Town," "Love Will Turn You Around," and, of course, "The Gambler." Kenny fans will adore this easygoing performance of popular tunes. I think it will be better to make it with only song tracks. On conclusion this is the
